The Mechanical Licensing Collective (The MLC) has initiated its legal action against music streaming platform Pandora Media. The Nashville-based rights society has filed a lawsuit against Pandora with the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, Nashville Division.

The MLC brought this action "to recover unpaid royalties that Pandora owes for its Blanket License, as well as late fees on unpaid royalties and The MLC’s costs and attorney’s fees in bringing this action.
